Steve Thurlow

Steve Thurlow has played a key role in the development of fast ferry operations around the world. With more than 25 years’ experience in the marketing, operation and finance of high speed ferries for sale and charter his knowledge of the industry is unrivalled. Passionate about industry relationships, Steve has lived and worked in Denmark, United Kingdom, New Zealand, Australia and Malta in support of ferry industry clients and their businesses. Steve also has demonstrated practical experience of ferry services having served as Operations Manager at Fast Cat Ferries in New Zealand. Prior to being bitten by the fast ferry bug, Steve served in the Australian Army for 12 years, attaining the rank of Captain and holding the position of ADC to the Governor of Tasmania (Australia’s senior Governor at the time) for three years.
